About these ads

They say you don’t know what you got
Until it is gone
Turns out whoever they are
Sure aren’t wrong

I took for granted
The person I held most dear
Turns out most people don’t care
For an attitude so cavalier

You left me a mess
Drowning in tears
I’ve certainly had this coming
It’s been building up for years

I see my mistakes now
I see who I was
I see that I was wrong
You left with just cause

I changing my ways
I’m committed to be
The man you fell in love with
The man I used to be

You’ve seen that I’m changing
Much to my relief
You’ve given me a chance
To turn over a new leaf

I thank you for your patience
I thank you for your love
I’ll do my very best for you
My wife, my love.

  1. Nice, I’m glad you guys worked things out. More importantly, I’m glad you’re posting here again! Don’t keep us waiting too much longer for something else!

    Also, happy Halloween buddy!

  2. Sometimes we need a little help seeing things clearly. It’s good to hear your eyes and heart are in sync and love prevailed. Great read Twin : )

    • Yeah, it sucks that it took this to see what I was doing. I’ve found out a lot about myself in the last three months and a lot of it shocked me. Things seem to be going in the right direction now and hopefully they stay that way.

  3. Beautifully said, TwinDaddy. Glad you are working things out. Maybe it’s time for more of us, me included to wake up a bit too. Thanks for the kick and welcome back!
