- I am a man that often thinks like a boy. Idealism runs deep in my veins. I believe God has a purpose for my life. I believe we are all created to honor and glorify God. My calling is to wake up the church.
I always have been directly or indirectly been involved in church. I am not just starting to fully understand what it means to be a follower of Christ.
I have an amazing wife, who I met my freshman year in college. I had dreamed about her two months before I saw her. The day I saw her (first day of college), I could not believe my eyes..."THAT WAS HER!" The only snag was that she was holding hands with her hometown boyfriend, who also attended our college. No worries. Three months later I met her for the first time (officially). A month before I met her, I found out her name and proclaimed to a friend of mine (Daryl Smith) that I was going to marry a girl named Heather, but I had not met her yet. It sounds like a stalker, but actually I was pretty idealistic (did I mention that?)
I have three amazing kids, Taylor (17), Josh (16), and Kassie Louise (11). Taylor is an amazing kind son, that has a tough exterior. He is strong as an ox, and has recently been considering ministering to those that are down and out. Josh is just plain funny. The boy is shy at first but he is the most quick witted kid I know. He too has a calling to build God's kingdom. My little girl is an angel. She is so amazingly faithful, and sees God in a way that I only wish I could recall. She wants to be a missionary.
I recently have retired from the day to day operations in Stuph Clothing. I gave too much to this company over the last 15 years. It wore me out, but has allowed me the opportunity to follow God and build His kingdom.
